President's Message... |
|
"DPC was initiated as a grooming ground for spreading the message of productivity way back in the year 1958 when productivity movement was at infancy. Over the next 25 years the main focus of the council was on imparting knowledge, changing attitudes and sharpening skills of practicing managers and workers alike. In its Endeavour, it received wide support from various international bodies like World Confederation of Productivity Science, Asian Productivity Organization, and national organizations like National Productivity Council of India which is also its parent body. Expertise accumulated over the two decades of its close interaction with the government, industry and trade unions assured us of our competence to launch PGDM Part-time programme in 1979 and PGDM full-time programme in 1984. The programme is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India).
The Institute is keenly aware of the rapid changes in the globally linked Indian economy and has over the years contributed effectively to business and industry. It is our constant endeavour to train students to undertake challenging assignments. The institution has been constantly improving its teaching, training and research inputs and the feed back received from the corporate world has greatly helped us in this direction.

The Delhi Productivity Council has always been on the leading edge of professional eductaion. It started imparting IT education in the early 1980's when computers were a novel phenomena. Similarly it started offering courses in management two decades ago, when Management Institute were few and far between.
The PGDM programme continues this pioneering tradition and provides well-rounded management training that stresses equally on principles and application. Products of the programme find themselves well equipped to meet the challenges of modern professional life. |
| Our course structure has been extensively designed to equip the students to face the global marketplace and build in them the competencies that are of value to the prospective employees, both in contemporary as well as future perspective. |
